Welcome to my play list page, Each month I will create a playlist and post it here. The playlist will have a theme and be related to either my life or whatever is happening to it.  I will list the track, and MY FAVORITE LYRIC FROM IT. 

APRIL 2018: ROAD TRIPPIN

Sometimes you just need to hit the road and clear your head. I plan to do just that this month. obviously, a 10 track playlist is too small for a road trip, but this particular list is home to some of my favorite songs to put on, roll the windows down, and just embrace all that the open road has to offer. It is kicked off with my favorite road trip song of all time which is "OPEN ROAD SONG" by Eve 6. I have driven a lot in my life. The longest road trip i have taken was driving from southern Michigan to Phoenix in the summer of 2013. It was a heck of a journey and I know i couldn't have done it without all the great tunes that came out of my speakers. peace and love ya'll!

MARCH 2018: THE NINE TEES

The 90's were a formative decade of my life, and the music of the 90's will forever hold a special place in my heart. I recently was introduced to a show from ireland called Derry girls. This show is set in the 90's, and is the story of a group of girls living in derry in ireland. it is one of the best written shows I have ever seen. if you want to check out the first episode, you can find it here. This months playlist is a group of songs that were some of my favorites from the decade. Enjoy!

FEBRUARY 2018: BLACK HISTORY MONTH

To celebrate Black history month, i thought back on the music that has been the soundtrack of my life and have made a playlist consisting of my favorite songs that celebrate black artists and their music. 

JANUARY 2018: DRUMMIN AND DREAMIN

The theme for January is DRUMMIN AND DREAMIN. 2017 was an amazing year for me and I am excited for what 2018 has in store. It is going to be a challenging year. I look forward to that and I am kicking it off with this playlist. Enjoy!
